Our 2019-2020 Yearbooks have finally arrived, and they have some great memories and pictures from last school year! We still have a few yearbooks left for sale. If you would like to purchase one, please come to RES with correct cash of $30 or check made payable to Ruby Elementary. These yearbooks will only be available until October 16.

Congratulations to Mrs. Beth Brock and Mrs. Jessica Jolly - the RES ABC employees for September! Mrs. Brock teacher CERDEP Child Development and Mrs. Jolly is our school secretary. Both of them are true examples of ABC employees because they go Above and Beyond the Call of Duty every day for our students. Thank you, Mrs. Brock and Mrs. Jolly! RES appreciates you!

5th Grade student, Shyra Burch, has been named the RES Student of the Month for September! Shyra's teacher, Mrs. Eason, says, "Shyra has taken this year head on! In just the first week of school, she has shown hard work, dedication to her learning and preparedness. On top of all that, she is also very polite and kind to others. ❤️" Congratulations to Shyra on being chosen Ruby Elementary's September Student of the Month! The RES Student of the Month is sponsored by the Chesterfield High School Alumni Association. Shyra has been provided a sign to display proudly in her yard during the month of September!



RES is also proud of all the classroom nominations. These students were presented with a certificate and free scoop of custard from Highway 55. They are as follows: Wade Johnson, Jayla Thomas, Sydney Sowell, Maya Martinez, Ella Claire Sellers, Landon Shaw, Bianca Watson, Malaki Bellflower, Laken Linton, Gatlin Treece, Jayson Bouknight, Aubree White, and Ellie Barkley. Congratulations to Vanessa Cassidy - RES Employee of the Year! Mrs. Cassidy is very deserving of this honor as she wears many "hats" at RES! Not only is Mrs. Cassidy a Kindergarten Assistant and a bus driver, she also is our school leader for March of Dimes, Relay for Life as well as keeping our school sign decorated seasonally with all of her creative ideas. Mrs. Cassidy is a huge asset to our Ruby Elementary family. She is a team player and is always willing to go the extra mile for our school and students! Congratulations, Mrs. Cassidy! Well deserved!
