3rd Grade student, Trevor Rivers, has been named the RES Student of the Month for February! Trevor's teacher, Mrs. Gainey, says, "Trevor Rivers is most deserving of the school's Student of the Month award. Trevor exhibits responsibility in all aspects of student activities/expectations on a daily basis. Trevor is an excellent student who takes pride in being helpful to all of his teachers and classmates ."Congratulations to Trevor on being chosen Ruby Elementary's February Student of the Month! The RES Student of the Month is sponsored by the Chesterfield High School Alumni Association. Trevor has been provided a sign to display proudly in her yard during the month of February!

Congratulations to Mrs. Kim Sowell and Mrs. Erica White - the RES ABC employees for January! Mrs. Sowell teaches kindergarten and Mrs. White is an instructional assistant in our ASD classroom. 4th Grade student, Zoey Cooper, has been named the RES Student of the Month for January! Zoey's teacher, Ms. Freeman, says, "Zoey illustrates integrity each and every day within our classroom. Her integrity extends further than the school hours, and I can always count on her to do the right thing even if it may not be the "cool" thing. 4th Grade student, Greyson Butcher, has been named the RES Student of the Month for October! Greyson's teacher, Mrs. Stokes, says, "Greyson is always willing to help others. He is always participating in random acts of kindness. He will hold the doors for teachers and students when coming in the building. He also shows what a good friend should be by playing with others on the playground that do not have anyone to play with. He works hard in class and is very smart!"
