October ABC Employees

Congratulations to Mrs. Angela Lisenby and Mrs. Norma Moore - the RES ABC employees for October! Mrs. Lisenby is our Reading Recovery teacher and Mrs. Moore is a Student Shadow. Both of them are true examples of ABC employees because they go Above and Beyond the Call of Duty every day for our students. Thank you, Mrs. Lisenby and Mrs. Moore! RES appreciates you!

October Student of the Month

2nd Grade student, Matthew Keziah, has been named the RES Student of the Month for October! Matthew's teacher, Mrs. Wallace, says, "Matthew is a hard worker and always follows directions. He loves to help his classmates and teachers any way he can. He shows enthusiasm for learning in every subject! Matthew always brings a smile to our faces!" Congratulations to Matthew on being chosen Ruby Elementary's October Student of the Month! The RES Student of the Month is sponsored by the Chesterfield High School Alumni Association. Matthew has been provided a sign to display proudly in his yard during the month of October!
RES is also proud of all the classroom nominations. These students were presented with a certificate. They are as follows: Peyton Hodge (not pictured), Pearl Phillps (not pictured), Sarah Carter, Harley Short, Easton Morton, Claire Jolly, August Stancil, CJ Parker, Erin Livergood, Trevor Rivers, Dionna Myers, Jaley Russell, Bianca Watson, and Carolina Gainey (not pictured). September ABC Employees

Congratulations to Mrs. Robbin Usher and Mrs. Shirlean Johnson - the RES ABC employees for September! Mrs. Usher is a teacher of Exceptional Children and Mrs. Johnson is our school nurse. September Student of the Month

1st Grade student, CayLen Woodard, has been named the RES Student of the Month for September! Caylen's teacher, Mrs. Huggins, says, "CayLen is a bright and happy student who tries hard and keeps his teachers on their toes. CayLen loves hands on activities in science and art and enjoys building. CayLen also loves being outside and has a laugh that is infectious. Way to Go Rayleigh!

After a successful weekend at the State Finals and the Average Champion winner in 2 events, 5th grade student, Rayleigh Wallace, finished up the year as the SCHSRA Youth Division State Champion in Barrel Racing, Reserved State Champion in Pole Bending, as well as placing 6th in Breakaway Calf Roping and 7th in Goat Tying. Congratulations, Rayleigh! RES is proud of you!
