April's ABC Employees

Congratulations to Mrs. Amy Wallace and Mrs. Patti Thompson - the RES ABC employees for April!
Mrs. Wallace teaches 2nd grade and Mrs. Thompson is our Custodian. Both of them are true examples of ABC employees because they go Above and Beyond the Call of Duty every day for our students. Thank you, Mrs. Wallace and Mrs. Thompson! RES appreciates you!

April Student of the Month

3rd Grade student, Ebi Penny, has been named the RES Student of the Month for April! Ebi's teacher, Mrs. Byrd, says, "Ebi is a very loving and kind, hearted child. He is always willing to help others and does what he is asked to do at school. Ebi works hard and puts forth his best effort!" Congratulations to Ebi on being chosen Ruby Elementary's April Student of the Month! The RES Student of the Month is sponsored by the Chesterfield High School Alumni Association. Ebi has been provided a sign to display proudly in his yard during the month of April!

RES is also proud of all the classroom nominations. These students were presented with a certificate and free scoop of custard from Highway 55. They are as follows: Easton Morton, Aydan Richardson, Dexter Little, Ezra Huggins, Xander Whitt, Cohen O'Neal, Sadie Usher, Taygen Joplin, Logan Mason, Trinity Ricketts, Christian O'Neal, JJ Hodge, and Kingston Williams. RES Says Thank You!

RES would like to give a huge THANK YOU to Nestle' USA of McBee, SC for the generous donation of bottled water for our school! Our students, faculty, and staff certainly appreciate this donation. The water will be put to good use for upcoming school activities! Pictured is RES principal, Caroline Miles and Bruce Chavis Jr. of Nestle'. RES Announces Teacher of the Year

Congratulations to 1st Grade Teacher, Stephanie Ramirez! Mrs. Ramirez is the RES Teacher of the Year! Principal Caroline Miles says, "Mrs. Ramirez is an exceptional teacher. Her classroom is a place of learning and fun! Her students are engaged daily in her interactive lessons, read alouds, and teaching. She is always prepared and sets high expectations for all her students. The RES family is fortunate to have Mrs. Ramirez as one of our teachers! This is a well deserved honor! Congratulations, Mrs. Ramirez!"

March ABC Employees

Congratulations to Mrs. Ashli Adams and Officer Tony Creech - the RES ABC employees for March! Mrs. Adams teaches 2nd grade and Officer Creech is our School Resource Officer. March Student of the Month

1st Grade student, Mari Burch, has been named the RES Student of the Month for March! Mari's's teacher, Mrs. Watson, says, "Mari Burch is such a fantastic first grader! She returned to school in January ready to “hit the floor running,” and she hasn’t stopped since. Mari is an excellent student! She’s very creative, and aspires to do her best always. Mari is also an outstanding friend to all! She never wants anyone to feel behind or left out. Mari definitely fits the criteria & characteristics necessary for Student of the Month. February ABC Employees

Trevor's teacher, Mrs. Gainey, says, "Trevor Rivers is most deserving of the school's Student of the Month award. Trevor exhibits responsibility in all aspects of student activities/expectations on a daily basis. Trevor is an excellent student who takes pride in being helpful to all of his teachers and classmates ."Congratulations to Trevor on being chosen Ruby Elementary's February Student of the Month! 4th Grade student, Zoey Cooper, has been named the RES Student of the Month for January! Zoey's teacher, Ms. Freeman, says, "Zoey illustrates integrity each and every day within our classroom. Her integrity extends further than the school hours, and I can always count on her to do the right thing even if it may not be the "cool" thing.
