Way to Go Rayleigh!

After a successful weekend at the State Finals and the Average Champion winner in 2 events, 5th grade student, Rayleigh Wallace, finished up the year as the SCHSRA Youth Division State Champion in Barrel Racing, Reserved State Champion in Pole Bending, as well as placing 6th in Breakaway Calf Roping and 7th in Goat Tying. Congratulations, Rayleigh! RES is proud of you!

May ABC Employees

Congratulations to Ms. Janna Jordan and Mrs. Crystal Jenkins - the RES ABC employees for May! Ms. Jordan teaches kindergarten and Mrs. Jenkins is our CERDEP assistant. Both of them are true examples of ABC employees because they go Above and Beyond the Call of Duty every day for our students. Thank you, Ms. Jordan and Mrs. Jenkins! RES appreciates you!

May Students of the Month

2nd Grade student, Xavier Streater, has been named the RES Student of the Month for May! Xavier's teacher, Mrs. Adams, says, "Xavier is a joy to teach. He has the kindest heart, and he is always the first to defend a friend in need. He is extremely quiet, but he will happily use his voice if it is needed to help others. He has the sweetest and silliest personality, and he contributes so much happiness and love to our classroom!" Congratulations to Xavier on being chosen Ruby Elementary's May Student of the Month! The RES Student of the Month is sponsored by the Chesterfield High School Alumni Association. Xavier has been provided a sign to display proudly in his yard during the month of May!
RES is also proud of all the classroom nominations. These students were presented with a certificate and free scoop of custard from Highway 55. They are as follows: Kamille Bowen, Peyton Ratliff, Spencer King, Ali Kate Sheeler, Bianca Watson, Harley Short, Elise Robinson, Jackson Steen (not pictured), CJ Parker, Lashonda Johnson, Jaheim Long, Tristan Brooks, and Layla Gaskins. Keep up the good week! RES is proud of you!

April's ABC Employees

Congratulations to Mrs. Amy Wallace and Mrs. Patti Thompson - the RES ABC employees for April!
Mrs. Wallace teaches 2nd grade and Mrs. Thompson is our Custodian. Both of them are true examples of ABC employees because they go Above and Beyond the Call of Duty every day for our students. Thank you, Mrs. Wallace and Mrs. Thompson! RES appreciates you!

April Student of the Month

3rd Grade student, Ebi Penny, has been named the RES Student of the Month for April! Ebi's teacher, Mrs. Byrd, says, "Ebi is a very loving and kind, hearted child. He is always willing to help others and does what he is asked to do at school. Ebi works hard and puts forth his best effort!" Congratulations to Ebi on being chosen Ruby Elementary's April Student of the Month! The RES Student of the Month is sponsored by the Chesterfield High School Alumni Association. RES Says Thank You!

RES would like to give a huge THANK YOU to Nestle' USA of McBee, SC for the generous donation of bottled water for our school! Our students, faculty, and staff certainly appreciate this donation. The water will be put to good use for upcoming school activities! Pictured is RES principal, Caroline Miles and Bruce Chavis Jr. of Nestle'.
