Third grade student, Cayden Campbell has been named the RES Student of the Month for October! Cayden's teacher, Mrs.
Gulledge says, "Cayden is always making good choices and following school rules. I can always depend on Cayden to be honest and treat everyone with respect." Congratulations to Cayden Campbell on being chosen Ruby Elementary's November Student of the Month!"

Congratulations to Mrs. Janna Jordan and Ms. Erica McBride- the RES ABC employees for October. Mrs. Jordan teaches kindergarten and Ms. Myers-McBride is an assistant in our Autistic class. Both of these ladies are true examples of ABC employees because they go Above and Beyond the Call of Duty every day for our students. Thank you, Mrs. Jordan and Mrs. McBride! RES appreciates you!

First grade student, Eli McClendon, has been named the RES Student of the Month for September! Eli's teacher, Mrs. Brock, says, "The first two character traits this year have been RESPECT and RESPONSIBILITY. These two words describe Eli McLendon. Eli is an awesome student. I can always count on him to give 100 percent to everything that is asked of him. He walks into the classroom each morning with a big smile on his face ready to start his day. He is friendly to all of his classmates and to faculty and staff at RES. I am very lucky to have Eli as a student in my first grade class." Congratulations to Eli McClendon on being chosen Ruby Elementary's October Student of the Month!"
 
RES is also proud of all the classroom nominations. These students were presented with a certificate and coupon for a free scoop of custard at Highway 55. They are as follows: Payton Rivers, Emory Rivers, Olivia Rink, Luke Perry, Makenzie Blackwell, JJ Cook, Camryn Horton, Jamison Miles, Kaelyn Dixon, Brooklyn Short, Porter Kearns, Dennis Penny, and Gabriel Rangel.

Third grade student, Johnathon McLoyd, has been named the RES Student of the Month for September! Johnathon's teacher, Mrs. Usher, says, "Johnathon is a very special student. He gives me a hug every day when he walks into the school and also before he leaves to go home. He is kind and considerate to his classmates and respectful to adults. He is always willing to help me and his peers. He is a joy to have in my classroom!" Congratulations to Johnathon McLoyd on being chosen Ruby Elementary's September Student of the Month!"

During art class, students enjoyed creating pictures for the Palmetto Pride Art Contest. Keller Caulder, Anna Belle Taylor, Arianna Mason, Briley Miles, Regan Purser, and Dionna Myers all received Honorable Mention for their projects. The First Place Winner for our school in Candice Hoosier. Candice's art work will represent our school in the Regional Competition. Congratulations to all of these artists and good luck to Candice!
