Fifth grade student, Mitchell Vasquez, has been named the RES Student of the Month for January! Mitchell's teacher, Mrs.
Crawford says, "Mitchell has made great gains and progress in both ELA and Math. He has blossomed as a student and a peer. Mitchell is hardworking, responsible, and well-prepared for class." Congratulations to Mitchell on being chosen Ruby Elementary's January Student of the Month!"


RES is also proud of all the classroom nominations. These students were presented with a certificate and coupon for a free scoop of custard at Highway 55. They are as follows: Haylee Wiles, Avery Moss, Layla Gaskins, Christian O'Neal, Johnathon McLoyd, Adam Williams, Dionna Myers, Carmen Windham, Harley Hatcher, Amani Allen, Gabriel Rangel, Jackson Tucker, and Summer Southard. Congratulations to Mrs. Alisha Rink and Mrs. Amy Rainwater - the RES ABC employees for January. Mrs. Rink teaches Special Education and Mrs. Rainwater is a student shadow. Both of these ladies are true examples of ABC employees because they go Above and Beyond the Call of Duty every day for our students. Thank you, Mrs. Rink and Mrs. Rainwater! RES appreciates you!

Second grade student, Kayla Furlow, has been named the RES Student of the Month for December! Kayla's teacher, Mrs.
Adams says, "Kayla is always willing to lend a helping hand. She is kind to everyone she meets. She truly has a caring heart, and I am lucky to have her in my classroom!" Congratulations to Kayla Furlow on being chosen Ruby Elementary's December Student of the Month!"
