The Chesterfield High School Alumni Association, represented by Mr. John Douglas, and the Town of Ruby, SC celebrate SC Arbor Day with the 4th graders at Ruby Elementary School. This year each student received a Crape Myrtle seedling to take home and plant. Mr. Douglas explained to the students how important it is to replant trees in the area they live. The seedlings were purchased from "Fourth Grade Foresters", an organization that promotes the replanting of trees throughout the US to help the environment.
