Students in Mrs. Stokes's fourth grade class have completed a study of the Native American Indians of North America. Students conducted research to learn about the regions, dwellings, and culture of these early people. Students were able to make projects to represent a certain cultural region using materials that were authentic or a variety of other materials as a substitute for things found in the environment of that region. Students read books including myths and legends and wrote reports to accompany the projects. Students were able to present their learned information to the class.
